Public Display
The
Public Display
gives you a way to provide highly visible emergency
notifications when the need arises. Flashing lights and audible
alerts draw attention to the emergency messages. Designed for public
places or private staff locations, the
Public Display
can be ceiling or wall mounted. Like other members of the
ZENS
family, the
Public Display
is individually addressable, uses wireless communications and has
battery backup for operation after loss of primary power.

Z-Fob™
The
Z-Fob
personal display device is carried by students, staff, critical employees or visitors. When an
emergency message is sent to the display, an audible alert draws the user's
attention.
In addition to receiving emergency notifications,
the
Z-Fob
provides a means to summon help when needed. Each
Z-Fob is uniquely
identified;
ZENS
provides the dispatcher with the location and the identity of the person in need of
assistance.
Each
Z-Fob
can be configured for use with other services, such as an
escort request system or other location-based applications.
Z-Fobs
can be fitted with integrated
proximity technology for use with existing access control systems.

Trackers let you find your critical assets at any time through the location information available through
ZENS. Asset Trackers
provide continuous location information and can be configured to trigger alarms when entering or leaving a particular location.

Badges provide continuous location information. They can be
configured to trigger alarms when visitors enter or leave a particular area,
perfect for keeping visitors out of sensitive areas.

Sensors
The Sensors serve as the
"ears" for the
ZENS
network. The Sensors automatically form a self-configuring
mesh network, which minimizes installation time and maximizes
reliability. In addition,
Sensors operate on long life
batteries, completely eliminating the need for wiring.
For outdoor areas,
Sensors are available
in pole-mount and building-mount configurations. These
Sensors are can tolerate extremes of weather.
For indoor areas, the
Sensors are available in wall-mount and ceiling-mount configurations.
ZENS
Management Suite™
The ZENS
Management Suite
offers a wide range of capabilities.
- Emergency Notification application.
Emergency messages can be sent to all or selected
Public
Displays
and
Z-Fobs, to cell phones, to pagers, or via email. With CAP (Common Alerting Protocol) import capability
and a simple alert entry process, any emergency notification
can be quickly sent to alert and inform your community.

CAD System.
ZENS
can serve as a stand-alone Computer-Aided Dispatch system or can
tie into an existing CAD system. When an alarm is
received from a user's
Z-Fob, the identity and location of the user is
presented to the dispatcher, who can then summon first responders. Note-taking
and extensive reporting capabilities make it easy to track the
response to an incident.

Escort Management
System. Non-emergency escort requests can be managed either
at the dispatcher's console or on a separate console
— perfect for volunteer-run escort
programs.
The
Management Suite includes extensive event monitoring
and reporting capabilities, and is easy to use and administer.
Interfaces to third party CAD systems, and interfaces to existing databases are
available for the
Management Suite. Other location-based applications
are also available.
